Summary:
Carol Kimball remembers Christmas before stores and shops started decorating for the event at Halloween and most gifts were wrapped in white tissue paper. Before Scotch tape was available, glue on stickers did the job. School classes often sold them to fight tuberculosis, a common disease at the time. They cost a penny each or one dollar for a whole sheet. Live trees were decorated. But even today, with all its changes, Christmas is wonderful.
