Summary:
Charity and Relief Lodge No. 72 dedicated Mystic's Masonic Temple on Gravel Street in 1911. Though built of highest quality material the building is not handicap accessible and parking is a problem so the building and its desirable location is on the market for $899,000. At one time membership reached an all time high of 828 in 1958. Charity & Relief Lodge plans to combine with two other lodges in the area, Asylum Lodge of Stonington and the Pawcatuck Lodge, forming a new group to be called the Coastal Lodge.
