Scope & Content:
Typewritten notes describing the Eskimo boat.
The Eskimo boat is called a kayak. When the Eskimo makes a kayak he stretches skins around a skeleton of bones. It is pointed at both ends and usually eighteen feet long. To keep the water out they have a lacing around the opening in the top. After the Eskimo gets in he pulls the lacing tight and ties it.
