Most of the Eskimo dogs are part wolf and for that reason are usually wild and fierce. They are very necessary to pull the sleds over the ice and snow. They fight a lot with each other and will eat anything they can get hold of even to their harness or each other when they are hungry. Usually they are well taken care of and sleep in a small igloo. The dog is the Eskimos' trolley, steam train and automobile.
