Newspaper article regarding the discovery of the rare Indian wicopy bush. Among the first to recognize the pliability of the wicopy bushes were the American Indians and they , in theiir practical fasion, put this quality to good use. They tied prisioners with it! But in thier quieter moments, they found other uses for the light brown brances. Ropes for lasting tepee poles, small twigs were used as moccasin laces, and according to old legends, the Indians evern wove blankets and clothing for the pliable twigs.
