Handwritten notes concerning lands in Stratfield at Golden Hill. In these notes, Montangle is referred to as Sachem until 1735 (vice Coggernossets in DOC.1680–00–00). Succeeded by John Shooran who leased land to Lewis for 999 years and died 1761. Numerous references.
