Summary:
Goodman writes of University of Connecticut archaeologist Kevin McBride's recent findings of evidence of late sixteenth, early seventeenth century Indian settlements in Mystic. McBride specified that they did not find any burnt posts, which would point to the Pequot fort that was burned by Englishmen accompanied by Narragansett Indians.
