Summary:
In Weekapaug, Rhode Island, Canon W. David Crockett has restored the old Noyes Ground and the cemetery long left neglected. Crockett cleared up the trees, mended the walls, and straightened & braced the gravestones. Those who lie here are mostly veterans from the Noyes family serving back in 1776 and forward. Now, Crockett has laid his own father to rest on this property that he acquired in the 70s. Crockett's father was a Seaman First Class. Crockett himself is retired from the Air Force and his son part of the Naval Reserve. Crockett wants to honor and remember those buried here and even offered others to bring the flags of draped over coffins of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines for him to fly at this property.
