Scope & Content:
Mimeograph transcription of a letter to Gov. Winthrop concerning the warrant issued to Owaneco for his appearance in court in order to present his complaint about land being stolen from him. Plumbe relates the manner in which Owaneco was informed of this decision to meet in New London as soon as possible in order to settle the matter. Owaneco will make haste in order to be able to appear in court and "fite those persons he did judg had wronged him aboute his Lands".
