Mimeographed transcription of instructions to John Griffin and John Gilbert to accompany two Mohegan indians, Pauks and Sanaconums, to the Pocomtucks. The Mohegans were bring six fathom of wampum as a peace gesture. The English find it in their best interests to secure a peace between the Mohegans and the Pocomtucks. Gilbert and Griffin are instructed to go to Norwotuckke; speak with John Pynchon to see if he wishes to also send men; and give a message to the Pocomtucks that the English would like to see a peace.
