Mimeographed transcription of a statement by Owaneco to the governor and council of Connecticut. Owaneco states that the Dutch have inflammed the Mohawks, and that the Mohawks are preparing for war against the English. An indian named Tobey is bring wampum to the Nipmuc and Mohegan indians to gain their support against the English. The Mohawks are also enlisting the aid of the Nowonchewog and Wabequasset indians.
