Mimeographed transcription of a letter written by John Halle on the behalf of Sanseauck. Sanseauck wants to know if anything has been discovered regarding the murderer of his squaw. He has received information that the Mohegans killed her. A Sophus indian stated that nine Mohegans came to Fort Albany with a female indian head and claimed they killed the squaw at Matabeset. Many Dutch people also heard the claim.
