A letter to Governor John Winthrop concerning the author's need for more money in order to support his own family and to pay tribute to the tribes that he attempts to communicate with. The author of the letter has a good grasp of the various native languages and is attempting to put together a Bible written in one of the Native American dialects. However, the Commissioners of the Colony are not very forthcoming with money or support.
