Mimeograph transcription of deed of 70 acres of land to William Whiting from Ceazer, Sachem of Mohegan, for 15 pounds. The land abuts Charles Whiting's farm, westerly on a small brook and on Samuel Fairbank's and Jonathan Morgan's properties. The deed is witnessed by Ben Uncass and Jonathan Wickwere. On September 9, 1720 Samuel Avery bears witness. The Justice of the Peace is Joseph Backus.
