Mimeographed transcription of a letter from John Winthrop Jr. to John Haynes in which Ninigret asks that Uncas be stopped from harrassing the Narragansett indians. An incident occurred when six Mohegan indians killed an old Narragansett woman. One Mohegan was captured and killed.
