Mimeographed narrative about events leading to King Philip's War. The special treatment Uncas and his people received were seen as unfair by other Natives. Owaneco killed a Narragansett, and was released from jail after paying bond. Other Indians told Roger Williams that this set a bad precident. The Narraganasetts were continuously questioned about their allegiance to Philip and offered that Uncas had sent men to aid him. An account of towns attacked and troops sent is included.
