Scope & Content:
Copy of assembly record considering all matters relating to two belts of wampum.
It is resolved that this assembly take no further notice of said wampum: only that John Sherman Esq. be directed and desired to return said wampum to the Indians from Thom Reed. And inn behalf of this assembly to charge the said Indians and any other concerned that the receive no such presents on any account whosoever without informing the Governor or some one of the council thereof; also that they inform in like manner if any furhter proceeding be on this affair.
