Mimeographed transcripiton of a letter written by John Mason to John Allyn regarding word from East Hampton and Southold about exchange of wampum between indians and French resulting in an alliance. Mason warns that Ninigret and the Mohawks are part of a conspiracy. He tells Allyn to send word to Massachusetts and Plymouth Colony about the issue. He states in a postscript that the Montauks should be warned against "attempting anything against the other party at the present."
