Mimeographed transcription of a letter from John Winthrop to Thomas Willets thanking him for information about the Mohawk indians. Winthrop states that the English of Connecticut do not know of the Mohawk ways, and need this intelligence. The people of Northampton and Hadley have force a peace with the Pocomtuck indians by giving them wampum.
