Mimeographed transcription of a letter from Roger Williams to John WInthrop regarding Narragansett assistance against the Pequots. Williams mentions that the Narragansetts helped the English attack the Pequot forts in Mystic. The Pequots have all fled. Sassacus may have gone to Long Island. Williams asks the Connecticut people to send yellow and red paint so that the Narragansett warriors can mark their heads and be seen by the English as allies.
