Scope & Content:
Mimeograph transcription of a letter to the General Assembly from a memorialist asking that he be paid for services rendered to Samuel Uncas in 1767. Turner had to amputate Samuel's arm and it required much time for the operation and healing process. Turner asks that he be paid out of the colony treasury since the Mohegans do not have the funds to pay him.
