Pueblo Indians live in a town called a pueblo and in houses called pueblos. Pueblo is a Spanish word which means town, but there are ruins of Indian pueblos that were built hundreds of years before the Spanish reached America.
Near each pueblo there are trading posts where the Indians can trade.
