Mimeographed transcription of Nimpuck complaints to the United Colonies that a part of Narragansetts attacked them and took away goods including mats, guns and wampum. The Narragansett 's claim that they were retrieving tribute, a claim rejected by the Nipmucks. Philip, sachem of Mount Hope, was selected to intercede and decide the issue.
