Mimeographed transcription of a letter from James Bishop to John WInthrop informing him of the murder of an indian walking toward the iron works farm to go to Branford. An Englishman heard two guns and found the body. It is believed that Uncas' men killed the indian. Bishop asks Winthrop to find the truth in the matter.
