Mimeographed transcription of a letter from Thomas Welles to John Winthrop describing the killing of an indian servant at Mr. Brewster's farm by twelve Narragansett indians. Mr Brewster was at Hartford, but his wife saw the indians attack and kill the Mohegan, cutting off his hands. Some Pocomtuck indians killed a trusty Mohegan indian attempting to help rescue a cow of Robert Lay's.
