Transcription of a legal notice to the government of the Colony of Connecticut that Owaneco deeded land to John Plumbe for saving him from drowning. There seems to have been some question as to Plumbe living on the Mohegan land, but Owaneco clears up the situation by informing the government that Plumb has his permission to live on it.
