Mimeographed transcription of a letter written by Edward Hopkins regarding a resolution that the Pequots living at Nameag be returned to the subjugation of Uncas. Hopkins also refutes Ninigret's claim that he had permission to hunt in the Pequot country. Hopkins states that Ninigret's treachery and failure to meet covenants would prevent him from receiving the favor of hunting in Pequot country.
