Mimeographed abstracts from Caulkins History of Norwich stating that Uncas died in 1683. Caulkins states that Uncas acknowledged a deed before Samuel Mason in June 1682. Caulkins provides examples of deeds for the indian burial place in Norwich, where Uncas is surely buried.
