Documentary references to the making and using of feather fabrics by the Indians of southern New England are fairly numerous but tantalizingly incomplete. Although the accumlated information in not detailed enough to make claer the techniques involved in fabricating feather blankets in this area, it is worth summarization for use in comparison with similar accounts from other groups.
