Photocopy of typed note about Cochegan, also known as Cochegion, a member of the Mohegan tribe who was born 1735 and was an early settler of Brothertown. He was living on lot 114, which was given to his widow Hannah when he died at age 60. They had a daughter Mehitable, who had an infant child Johanna. They had a son Solomon who received lot 61 in 1797 who was probably the father of Hannah and Lucy Cochegan, heirs to lot 114 in 1834.
