Mimeograph transcription of a letter to John Winthrop detailing the Pequots' growing animosity toward the English and other Indian tribes. Brewster tells of the attempt made by the Pequots to overtake an English ship in their harbor and slay all the occupants. The anger of the Pequots toward the Mohegans and other tribes is growing into a longstanding bloody battle.
