Letter of Rev. Adams regarding the examination of Captain Mason's Indian students.

Scope & Content:
Photocopy from a book of a letter talking about Capt. Mason's Indian students and their examination by Reverend Adams. The students were said to read from Psalters and Primers. They spell very prettily and some of them read tolerably. Captain Mason stated that he had about thirty Indian students, both boys and girls. The Indian students could say the Lord's Prayer, the Creed and the Ten Commandments. The Indians were said to like their reading.
