Mimeographed transcription of a letter written by Roger Williams telling the outcome of a standoff with the Narragansett indians. The indians paid 380 fathom of wamp upon Capt. Atherton's demand for 508 fathom. Williams asks John WInthrop to cancel the remaining due. Williams further discusses Uncas' villiany, and ponders what would occur in the event of a war between the Narragansetts and the English.
