Two separate letters on a single sheet of paper addressed to Jabez Haley, Aurielius, New York. One dated October 15, 1820 from Haley's sister Margaret Haley. Letter mentions "Aunt Hannah"; "Cousin Martha Minor married to Mr. Allyn"; "Capt. Loderwick Wilcox and Fanny Cotrel are married"; "Mr. H. Burtch, his wife and children"; Sister Polly; Mrs. Sedgewick; Alfred Turner; "Aunt Catherine Haley died"; Mr. Caleb Haley; Luther and Vincent; Major Morgan; Amos Sally and Edmund; and Mrs. Daboll.
Second letter is undated and written on opposite side of sheet of paper. It is signed "Mother S. D." (possibly Sarah Daboll.) References "My Dear Child" and "My Dear Jabez".
