Summary:
Amtrack purchases, from the Mashantucket Pequots, a warehouse in Groton across the railroad tracks from Bluff Point. The transaction returns part of the area, once part of of the original grant to John Winthrop Jr. that passed into the hands of the Gardiner family, to the railroad where the Midway yard was a boon to the village.
