Summary:
Groton Long Point becomes more convenient when the Groton Long Point Road was completed in 1916 and automobiles provided convenient access. Most cottages were equipped with electric lights and running water and bore fanciful names such as Buena Vista, Bonadventure, We-like-it, We-lik-a, Saltair, and The Breakers.
