This article explains how the owners of the Lighthouse Inn had recently uncovered historical artifacts and information that they were not previously aware of. Along with drawings and photographs of the estate, they discovered a that the Inn, which was previously a mansion owned by Charles S. Guthrie, was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted who designed Central Park. After this discovery, the owners planned restorations that would incorporate ideas from the newly discovered drawings
