Jim Davis, Betty Law, Dr. G. Kenneth Carpenter, Carol Kimball, work to get an individual grave marker, decorated with a Peter Rabbit book, dedicated to their beloved Mystic kindergarten teacher, Dorris Collins Bindloss, who had no grave marker but was buried in the family plot in Elm Grove Cemetery. Jack Buckllyn is full of stories about her rhythm band, a leaking piano and field trips to Reynold Hill while Charlie Rippel has a lovely photograph of her taken at a Mystic Flag Pole Ceremony. Rudy Favretti wrote of seeing her in her later years at Mystic Manor and a poem he learned in her class.
