Summary:
Obituary of Richard Renshaw Baker. Baker served in the merchant marine delivering supplies to the Allies in Murmansk during WWII, making their way past Nazi "wolfpacks" of submarines. After the war he worked for Electric Boat, and later for the Town of Groton Board of education. He was an avid storyteller, and portrayed Santa Claus for several years in the Lantern Light Tours at Mystic Seaport Museum.
