Summary:
It would take a volume to tell the story of Dr. Russell H. Conwell's remarkable ministry in the Grace church, which is affectionately called "Conwell's Temple". Forty years ago he became pastor of what was then a small and unpromising church, but under the superb leadership of Dr. Conwell it has become one of the great religious centers of the world. The great Temple University, with its thousands of students, and the hospitals, in which thousands of sick had been cared for, are the result of his toil.
