Summary:
Anniversaries are everywhere. Cutler Middle School noted its 40th birthday, The Mystic Congregational Church observes its 150th year, the Town of Groton marks its tercentenary in 2005 and Groton's First Church of Christ, Congreational, anticipates a double celebration this fall at they recognize the 300th anniversary of the church's founding and the 100th anniversary of their present stone building at Monument Street. A time capsule was placed under the church cornerstone of the present structure, once a common pratice.
