Carol Kimball took time during the October 1998 Connecticul Archaeology Awareness Weeks to focus on four Connecticut grave markers and the good fortune Connecticut has in recognizing the importance of archaeology via the Office of State Archaeology (OSA) and the University of Connecticut's Museum of Natural History. Heading UCONN's office in capable state archaeologist Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni and the recently formed Friends of the Office of State Archaeology (FOSA). According to FOSA the University of Connecticut's Anthropological Collection is the single largest repository of indigenous Native American, Colonial and industrial artifacts in existence.
