Summary:
A recollection of March 10, 1909 in which several ships suffered as a result of a dense fog. Most noted it the Steampship Massachusetts that was grounded in Vineyard Sound for four straight days. Also, the story of the Nova Scotia crafted bark known by Ladysmith who was grounded on Fishers Island for nine days after contact with the dense fog.
