Summary:
President's Day use to be simple, we knew it celebrated Washington and Lincoln most of all but now there are a number of contenders for the positiion of first president of our country including Samuel Huntington, John Hanson, Samuel Johnson and Thomas McKean to name a few. By some reckonings Washington was actually the eleventh man to be president.
