Summary:
Nineteen graves were found on Katherine Road. Bodies had been buried, then exhumed and burned. Several artifacts were also found. Axes, adzes, pestles, bone tools, brading stones, drills. They were made from felsites and flint. Also found were fire-making kits and soapstone bowls. Apparently two groups of people were involved; those native to the area and newcomers. Both groups were hunters and gatherers. The site is over 4,000 years old. 7 photographs from the excavation are included with the article.
