Summary:
Vintson/Vinston Ackley, who taught English and Latin at Stonington High School, dies at the Ackely Homestead, Gallup Hill, Ledyard.
Mr. Ackley had graduated from Yale in the class of 1914, with a B.A., as well as attending Brown university, Columbia College, and the University of Pennsylvania. He had taught in Albany, N.Y., Pomfret, C.T., Illinois, Johnstown College, and was on the faculty of Stonington high school.
