A special town meeting will be held Oct. 26 in the town hall to decide, among other questions, that of transportation for high school students, the clerk of the board of selectmen announced this morning. The meeting will act on a petition signed by J.E. Bennett and 33 others which resolves that the town furnish transportation to all high school pupils whose parents make application to the board of education, therefor, and the proper officers of the town are hereby instructed to make such provisions as may be necessary to carry out the policy.
