Summary:
The first iron-hulled steamer on the Norwich Line, City of Lawrence, comes to grief with the help of fog and the Black Rock on July 2, 1907 under the command of Capt. Phelps. Capt. George Crandall takes off the passangers and loads them onto the Griswold. T.A. Scott bought the wreck for junk.
