Summary:
September 21, 1938 hurricane caused serious damage to Standard Machine Company (Davis Standard Division) on Water Street in Mystic where Burton Kimball and others crowded into the northwest corner of the lower floor, with the roof and bricks and glass flying everywhere. His apartment on Irving Street, the former one room Packer schoolhouse, did not fare much better. Story to be continued….
