The Story of William Corcoran, the crossing tender at the union station, is the story of a man who has undoubtedly saved more lives than any other in the city of New London. In fact it is such a common thing for Mr. Corcoran to save a life that some days when he goes home at night after his days workhe can't remember just how many he has saved during the day.
